Breath sustains the force of life. The Chinese call it Chi. The Hindus call it Prana. We can survive a while without food or water but most of us cannot hold our breath for more than a minute. We begin life with one big breath, extracting its life-giving properties. Our life from birth to death life is one long story of continued breathing.
The holy breath is healing. It sustains and maintains the physical body and its essential functions. Our breath also helps us relax, reduce stress, and focus on what is most important. And of course, it helps us achieve deeper meditations and connections with our intuitive nature.
Come and learn about the health benefits of deep breathing, and how it can help you on your spiritual journey. We’ll explore some ancient breathwork techniques to keep us in balance body, mind, and spirit. Bring your good energy (and your breath!) and see what we can learn together!
*This class was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 26. Then we rescheduled it for Saturday, November 23. Due to a schedule conflict, we must move it again to Saturday, December 7.
