We are pleased to announce that Revs. Robert S. Jackson and Pamela Marks of the Washington (DC) Metaphysical Church will be returning to The Meditation Center on Sunday, August 13 at 10:00 am. They will be facilitating a special edition of our weekly Meditation and Discussion class, which is normally held on Saturdays. If you were here for their class last year, you will know how special and exciting this is. These special people are ordained ministers, and together with their team of student volunteers, guide their congregants in the Washington, DC area on their path of spiritual unfoldment.

Our Saturday Meditation and Discussion class originated with Rev. Jackson, who facilitated the weekly classes for several years in a community center in Arlington, Virginia, and later at The Metaphysical Learning Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. We brought the concept with us and instituted it as part of our weekly schedule of classes at The Meditation Center. The class comprises of about an hour of discussion on a specific topic, followed by a deep guided meditation to contemplate on that day’s lesson.
This is an opportunity for our guests to experience the dynamic spiritual insight that Revs. Jackson and Marks share with their congregation on a weekly basis. Rev. Marks also leads a weekly healing meditation and class on Tuesday nights in Maryland, synchronized with those of The Meditation Center and other locations affiliated with our parent organization. Together we build and concentrate our healing thoughts wherever they are needed.
We invite you to join us on Sunday, August 13 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Because of this event, we will not hold the class on the normally scheduled date, August 12. We are looking forward to seeing you!
Also: Get a preview of Rev. Jackson’s powerful meditation style at our weekly Healing Meditation on Tuesday, August 8 at 7:00 pm. We will be featuring a recording of a special guided healing meditation which Rev. Jackson led at Arlington Metaphysical Chapel in Arlington, Virginia in 2014.
