A Christmas Blessing
’Twas another bright Christmas, and all through our town,
Businesses were moving, as changes abound.
One moved downtown, while another protested.
The transformation goes on; the road project progresses!
But here on East Main Street, a small light still burns
In an upstairs window as our minds start to churn.
Where will we move, the question is posed.
With so many options, we answer, “Who knows?”
For seven great years, we’ve stood in this spot,
But we cannot stay if our building does not!
When it will happen is not ours to say,
But we know we’ll continue our classes some way.
All’s in Divine Order, we remind one and all.
We’re here for a reason, and our duty calls!
This is just change, and we persevere.
No matter what happens, we’ll still be here!
Just as our visit from St. Nicholas showed,
Our light will shine brightly wherever we go!
As we always say, without drama or fuss,
If it weren’t for you, there would be no “us”!
Joy, peace and love are the words of the day.
No matter the location, these sentiments stay!
As we contemplate what yet is to be,
We offer these words, so plainly to thee:
To all Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year,
The future will come; there is nothing to fear.
Create love and compassion wherever you go,
And from those kind actions a new outlook will grow.
May the things you have learned carry your spirit far,
As you follow the guidance of your internal star.
May Peace, Love and Light guide you eternally.
