The building at 894 East Main Street becomes available

The Meditation Center is officially chartered as a study group with the United Metaphysical Churches in Roanoke, Virginia

After getting lots of volunteer help to remodel the space, The Meditation Center opens its doors to the public
January 2016
The Meditation Center becomes a member of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce
August 2016
The Meditation Center begins teaching monthly meditation classes at the Jackson County Senior Center
September 2019
The NC Department of Transportation informs The Meditation Center that the property will be lost to eminent domain for a major road project
March 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic forces The Meditation Center to maintain limited hours, with no in-person classes. Weekly classes are offered on Zoom, supplemented by recorded meditations and lectures
October 2020
The Meditation Center launches its updated website
