The stimulus bill passed by Congress in December 2020 includes a provision where individuals may be eligible to deduct up to $300 for charitable cash donations ($600 for married couples) made during the 2021 tax year, even if you do not itemize deductions on your tax return. Please consult with a tax professional concerning your eligibility to take advantage of this opportunity.
