Class Donations

Giving

Someone once asked us “When you call it ‘donation,’ it means that I don’t really have to pay, right?”  Well, not exactly.

All classes are $10 unless otherwise posted. Why $10? It’s a long story, but we think it’s a fair amount for the services we provide in return. That being said, no one is turned away for inability to pay. Whatever you are able to afford is acceptable. Our center is funded solely by proceeds from our classes and bookstore, and the financial donations of kind friends. We accept payment for classes on the honor system. This avoids embarrassment to those who cannot afford to pay the full suggested donation amount.

Does this mean classes are free? Not at all. A plethora of natural laws (which we will gladly help you learn!) teach us that nothing is really free. The cycle of giving and receiving is kept in motion through your donations. The same natural laws (like the Law of Attraction) teach us that the gifts we give (and the love with which we give them), bless us in return, and we gain a better appreciation and more satisfaction in the lessons we learn as a result.

If you are sincere about learning the Metaphysical principles we teach, we want to be there to help you to learn. Your spiritual growth and unfoldment is more important than how much you pay. Please donate what you can, however inconsequential it may seem, and consider making a larger donation when times are more prosperous. If you are completely unable to donate financially, let us know. We certainly welcome other forms of donation in kind, through volunteer service, donated items for our bookstore (meditation-related items in good condition, please) or in other constructive ways. Give the gift of giving, and we will happily receive (and vice versa)!

For those blessed with an ample bounty, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support our center*. This not only helps our center thrive, but it also makes it possible for those less fortunate to participate in our programs.

“Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost.” – The Law of Equivalent Exchange

*The Meditation Center is a non-profit charitable organization eligible for tax-deductible donations as permitted by law. Please consult with a tax professional to determine how tax laws apply to your specific circumstances.
