Update 5/21/20: With Phase 2 of reopening in North Carolina beginning on May 22, our desire is to proceed cautiously. While we are maintaining our current modified schedule, beginning June 1, we will be open on Mondays for access to our bookstore and for individual meditation, with maximum capacity of 5 people, and specific social distancing and personal protection requirements. We are also available by appointment for specific individual needs. Visit our News, Classes, and Community pages for more information, and sign up for periodic e-mail updates.
Note: The Meditation Center is closed on the 29th, 30th and 31st of each month (5th Tuesday, 5th Saturday, etc.) unless otherwise announced.
Saturday Spiritual Discussion
Sat., April 6 –
Join us on Saturday mornings for an interactive discussion on spiritual principles, followed by a guided meditation to reflect on that day's topic.
In months where there are five Saturdays, this class is not conducted on the 5th Saturday of the month.
What to expect: This class includes a lecture/discussion lasting about 45-50 minutes. After a short break, we will enter into a guided meditation. Participants should be able to sit comfortably for up to 30 minutes in low light. Please expect to arrive and be seated by 9:50 am.
What to bring: Shoes are not permitted in carpeted areas where classes are conducted. Please bring clean socks to wear during the class. You are also welcome to bring a sweater or light blanket. If you prefer to sit on the floor, you may want to bring a small cushion to sit on.
